Introduction
A virtual-reality mobile application created as part of a college-funded project, built in Unity with the Google Cardboard package. It contains two modules: Learn and Practice.
- Learn presents an animated model and a panel of numbers the model can sign.
- Practice gives the user time to answer, capturing gestures through the Leap Motion controller and giving a simple yes/no evaluation.
Notes & credits
The 3D models were created and animated in Blender, with thanks to Darrin Lile’s Blender tutorials. Google Dictionary voices were used to spell out numbers, and the background music (The Silver Bus by TRG) is licensed under Creative Commons.
